For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

GOD IS HOLY AND WORTHY TO RECEIVE ALL OUR HONOUR, TRUST, OBEDIENCE, WORSHIP AND GLORY.

Genesis 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

ADAM AND EVE WERE BOTH BANISHED FROM THE GARDEN OF EDEN AFTER DISOBEYING GOD, BELIEVING SATAN AND BRINGING SIN INTO THE WORLD.

GOD MADE ADAM RULER AND KEEPER OVER ALL CREATURES ON EARTH AND GAVE HIM ACCESS TO EVERYTHING EXCEPT ONE FRUIT.

Genesis 3:17

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

Genesis 3:23

23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

GOD TAUGHT US TO APPROACH HIM WITH THE BLOOD OF AN INNOCENT LAMB

Genesis 22:12-13

12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Deuteronomy 5:6,7

6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

THE LAW AND COMMANDMENTS

WERE GIVEN TO MOSES ON MT. HOREB TO TEACH US HOW SINFUL WE ARE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD. WE ARE ALL GUILTY OF SINNING AGAINST GOD.

Isaiah 9:6-7

7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Psalm 2:7-8

7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession

THE COMING MESSIAH, THE SAVIOUR FROM OUR SINS WAS PROPHESIED BY MOSES, KING DAVID AND THE PROPHETS. GOD WOULD BE BORN AS A MAN, SUFFER DEATH FOR OUR SINS AND RISE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE RIGHTEOUS.

THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED; HEAR YE HIM

John 1:29

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”

Matthew 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

JESUS, THE ETERNAL SON OF GOD WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN AND PROCLAIMED BY JOHN THE BAPTIST TO BE THE LAMB OF GOD, THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD. JESUS HEALED THE SICK, RAISED THE DEAD AND FORGAVE SINS.

 THE THEME OF THE BIBLE, REDEMPTION FROM SIN THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

THE CRUCIFIXION WAS THE OFFERING OF JESUS AS THE ONLY SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS, TAKING OUR PUNISHMENT UPON HIMSELF THAT WE BY FAITH MIGHT RECEIVE THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.

Isaiah 53:5-6

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Hebrews 2:9

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Phillipians 2:5-10

WHEN JESUS SAID “IT IS FINISHED” HE COMPLETED ALL THAT WAS NEEDED TO SAVE US FROM SIN. HE HAD POWER TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE AND POWER TO TAKE IT UP AGAIN THROUGH HIS

RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD. THE RESURRECTION WAS THE PROOF OF HIS ACCEPTANCE BEFORE GOD.

Luke 24:6-7

6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Romans 8:34

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.”

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

HOW CAN A SINFUL MAN BE FORGIVEN AND MAKE PEACE WITH GOD?

SADLY, EACH ONE OF US IS SINFUL FROM BIRTH AND IN OUR CONSCIENCE WE KNOW WE HAVE BROKEN THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD. WE ALSO LEARN THINGS AND PRACTICES THAT ARE SINFUL AND CONTRARY TO GOD.

THEREFORE, AS WE GROW OLDER OUR BURDEN AND WEIGHT OF SIN GROWS HEAVIER AND OUR CONDEMNATION WORSENS.

Psalm 58:3

3 The wicked are estranged from

the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.”

Genesis 8:21

21 .......the imagination of man’s

heart is evil from his youth;

1 John 2:15

15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Matthew 8:36

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

WE ARE ALL TEMPTED TO SIN BY OUR OWN HEARTS, SATAN, RICHES AND ENTERTAINMENT OF SOCIETY.

WE SHOULD INSTEAD BE SEEKING GOD WHILE WE ARE STILL YOUNG.

GOD IS HOLY, JUST AND MERCIFUL. ONLY THE SACRIFICIAL DEATH OF CHRIST, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD, THE FATHER.

Isaiah 64:6

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Isaiah 55:7

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Acts 8:22

22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

Hebrews 12:24

John 11:26-27

26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

ISAIAH 55:6&7

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Psalms 38:4

4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

DO NOT REBEL AGAINST GOD BUT SUBMIT TO HIM AND BE SAVED THROUGH FAITH IN HIS SON OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Romans 10:9,13

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Romans 6:23

Revelation 21:3-4

11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
